Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose was at the Federal High Court Abuja, on Tuesday, for the proceedings of the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, alongside his co-accused.
Nnamdi Kanu and his co-accused appeared in court, they were brought by prison officials at about 10.05a.m on Tuesday.
It was said that when Kanu got to the courtroom, his lawyers drawn his attention to the Ekiti State Governor who was said to be waiting for him.
Governor Fayose was seen in a red attire with a red cap that is synonymous to the eastern culture. He stood up and hug the Biafra nation agitator, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.
They exchanging pleasantries, Governor Fayose then moved back to his seat while Kanu took a seat on the other side of the aisle.Minutes later the governor crossed over the aisle to take a seat beside Biafra nation agitator.
They had a brief discussion before Fayose then returned to his previous seat.
At the end of the day, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was granted bail by the court.
