Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has been released from the Kuje Prison in Abuja.
According to his lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, kanu met the bail conditions that was granted him by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday.
Justice Nyako on Tuesday granted bail to Kanu, who is being prosecuted on charges based on treasonable, along with three others accomplice.
She barred Kanu from granting press interview while on bail and also gave a strict warning to him not to participate in any rally or be found in a crowd of more than 10 persons in the course of the bail.
Justice Nyako said Kanu was granted bail on health grounds.
According to his lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, kanu met the bail conditions that was granted him by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday.
The lawyer said his client met all outstanding conditions on Friday and was released shortly after all necessary documents were signed by the trial judge.
