Manchester United defeated Chelsea by 2-0 with goals from Rashford in the first half and Herrera in the second half.
Chelsea's lead stays at four points over Tottenham, while Man Utd have now move to 5th place with four points behind their city rival and a game in hand.
It now looks like United have two channels to qualify for the Champions League.
