Manchester United defender, Luke Shaw, has all through the season had a strained relationship with his manager, Jose Mourinho.
These however took another turn this weekend following Manchester United home game against relegation battled Swansea City, when Mourinho again questioned the Shaw’s commitment to the squad.
The English player, 21-year-old, lasted only nine minutes into the game causing Mourinho to make forced substitution, which only worsening the club's injury crisis, and causing Mourinho to remark that it 'must be a big injury'.
Here is the war of words between the two over the course of the season:
On September 18 after Watford defeat, Mourinho questions Shaw's mental attitude
Jose Mourinho: 'Kolarov has the ball in a difficult situation in the corner and my player instead of going up and pressing decides to give him space.
'Today for the second goal, (Nordin) Amrabat on the right side, our left back is 25 metres distance from him, instead of five metres. But even at 25 metres, then you have to jump and go press. But no, we wait.
'This is a tactical but also a mental attitude. In a couple of weeks, everything like this becomes perfect. That's my job.'
October 27 after missing Chelsea defeat, Shaw admits his frustration at not playing
Luke Shaw: 'It's normal you're frustrated on Sunday because I would have loved to play in that game.
'But it obviously wasn't meant to be and at the end of the day it is the manager's decision.'
