Man arrested at wedding for renting family members

A man has been arrested in China for renting guests as family members. Wangu Liu got arrested by the police because his in-laws felt shortchanged when they asked his alleged family members question and they went blank.


Upon probing further by the bride's relative, the alleged family members confessed they were just friends of the groom.
The guests later told a local television station that they were paid 80 each equivalent to( $12, N3544).
In total Liu was able to muster a total $732 to pay all his make believe family members.
 Though his case is unprecedented in any law, Liu almost got through with the wedding before being stopped by the Police
