Man recounts friend's ordeal with an Uber driver

Uber drivers are frequently in the news for the wrong reasons; an Uber driver has been called out by his passenger’s friend who claimed the driver broke his friend’s phone in an attempt to beat her.
Femi Famutimi who narrated the incident on Facebook said.

“During the trip, he then requests that the trip be made ‘off book’ and she was to pay N10,000. My friend objected to this and then he got angry. He started screaming that he had no time to waste and that she was wasting time. He then grabbed her phone and her bag and tried to punch her,”

He added that the passenger got her damaged phone back and escaped after the intervention of passersby.
