Mercy Aigbe: she was coughing blood and had bruises on her face- Lola Akande

The Lagos state commissioner for women affairs and poverty alleviation (WAPA) Lola Akande has intervened in the crisis raging in Mercy Aigbe's marriage.

Akande said she felt bad to see the Nollywood actress in such bad shape.

“She observed that Mercy was coughing blood and had bruises on her face and other parts of her body when she came crying for help” Akande said, referring to the actress' visit to the WAPA office to report the battery case.

The commissioner revealed that it was disheartening to see actress Mercy Aigbe’s condition when she came to her office to report what she went through in the hands of her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry
