Staff & students of FUNAAB fry 'Akara' to celebrate VC'S suspension


The staff and students of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) took to their open ground in nice attires, frying 'akara' (baked beans), to celebrate the suspension of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olusola Oyewole.
Prof. Olusola Oyewole was last week suspended by the federal government over series of petitions bothering on alleged maladministration and financial malpractices.

Prof. Olusola was termed by the staff as a dictator.

Reacting to the suspension, the chairman of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU FUNAAB), Rotimi Fasuwon said Oyewole's exist "is end to tyranny in FUNAAB. Honestly, we have every course to have this party.

We experienced a period of authoritarian leadership that has never been in the over 20years existence of this university."
