Update: Oyo Police Command to investigate death of UI's 100 Level Law student

Sequel to our earlier report about the unfortunate death of Miss Deborah Effiong, a 100 Level Law student at the University of Ibadan, the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abiodun Odude, through a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday, said that the state police command has commenced investigation into the death of Miss Deborah Effiong.

He gave an assurance that the outcome of the investigation would be made public as soon as it is completed.

Mr. Odude added that the police command got to know about the incident from the press statement issued by the institution through its Director of Public Communication, Mr Olatunji Oladejo on Wednesday.
