Matic could be out of favour at Chelsea if the Blues sign Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco

Nemanja Matic, the Chelsea hardman, started the vast majority of games under Antonio Conte last season but his form fell away a touch towards the end of the season. He is a £35m option that may be more feasible than luring Dier and Mourinho was also keen on Matic last summer.

Chelsea are working on a deal for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and that may see Conte cash in on Matic.
