MTN forced WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE to go off air after 13 years

Popular television game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (WWTBAM) which is produced by Ultima Limited and hosted by ace presenter Frank Edoho will be going off air after 13 years.

The show which came on air in 2004, aired on Fridays and was initially sponsored by Vmobile before MTN took over the sponsorship of the show, making it bigger, richer and better by doubling the cash prize.

The huge success of the show gave birth to the Sunday episodes in 2008, giving MTN a chance to enrich more lives until an announcement was made on Sunday, June 25, that MTN will no longer be sponsoring the show.

The pulling out of MTN has forced the organisers to suspend the show indefinitely.
