Notorious Kidnapper, Evans once kidnapped in Onitsha

The recently arrested dreaded kidnapper,Chuwudubem Onwamadike a.k.a Evans, told the police how he was kidnapped in 2015 by another gang of kidnappers that does their operations in the eastern part of the country.

The detectives also succeeded in recovering a gold ring worth $75,000 from his house.

The desperate gang of kidnappers trailed Evans from his home town, Nnewi in 2015, while he was driving his brand new black latest G-Wagon towards  Onitsha in Anambra state.

It was during at the peak of his terror in the South-East with his criminal activities like late Ngwu Ekere Omu, Vampire, Osisikanku and others. He revealed that he had almost gotten to Onitsha, when he was captured by some young men and shoved him into their car while they went off towards Enugu– Onitsha express way. 

According to Evans: "When they ended up at a hidden spot which I later knew I was inside one of the riverside areas in Anambra State, they brought me out for interrogation. I boldly introduced myself as Evans. Initially, they were shocked but later they started looking at me with skepticism. 

“I then asked them the name of their leader and after they reluctantly told me it was ND, short for Ndubisi, I informed them that he was serving a prison term at the Port-Harcourt prisons. That was when they started believing that I was the notorious Evans, widely known in crime circles. Nevertheless, they put a call to their leader in Port-Harcourt prison and as soon as they mentioned my name, he ordered them to take me back to where they picked me without delay.”

I was discovered that ND, their leader, who is still serving a long sentence in Port-Harcourt prisons, the first kidnap incident in Lagos state in 2011.

A $75 gold ring was found by the police detectives in Evans house after carrying out a full search in his lodge at Magodo phase 2.

Some document at his house  revealed that four days before his arrest he sent N20 millionin in Ghanaian currency, Cedi, to his wife in Ghana through a Bureau de Change . It was also revealed that he owned another mansion in Ghana making it the third property linked to him in West Africa.
