Residents protest over mysterious death of waitress in Umuahia

Pictures have surfaced online of protesters carrying placards with different messages demanding that the management of a hotel, Buru ji, in Umuahia North local government area, Abia state. explain the death of a waitress who died mysteriously in the hotel.

The deceased, Miss Happiness Emehara up until the time of her death was a staff of the hotel, located along Okwuta Ibeku road, was said to have slumped in between the bathroom and a room latching on tightly to a shower handle while on duty, her colleague Favour Owom.

Owom said she had gone up to bring toothpaste for her(the deceased) to use, only to find out she had slumped when she(Owom) returned.

The deceased was reportedly rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.

The protesters who are residents of Ohokobe Mbaocha Ndume Ibeku, are seek answers as to the cause of the deceased's death
