See the cruel but funny prank Juan Mata played on Manchester United supporter

Red Devils fan Chris couldn't have asked for a better start to his day when he met Mata inside Old Trafford.

Chris assumed he was about to be interviewed with the 29-year-old midfielder but what he didn't know was his experience was soon to turn into a worst nightmare as he was about to get set up by his best friend James.

Mata goes into the same room to meet the excited Chris and the United supporter shows the former Chelsea man a club programme from the year he was born.

And then the Spaniard proceeds to show Chris his 'own' memorabilia, which is of a signed Bryan Robson shirt from 1991, with Mata claiming the jersey is of real importance to him.

Mata then gets taken out of the room and Chris believes he is going to soon be joined in an interview with the star. But then the fun starts as a series of disastrous events take place

Chris is seen talking to Youtube star Charlie before the latter gets ordered to spill coffee on Mata's shirt.

Charlie starts to panic but Chris does his best efforts to calm him down. Then presenter Mark Smith walks in and attempts to help out but in fact, he makes the ordeal much worse.

Mark amusingly pours milk onto the 1991 shirt before getting Chris to try and scrub the stain off.

Is that the end of the story? No, Mata orders Mark and Charlie to then pour tea on the Robson shirt and moments later, they ask if Chris is willing to take the blame for the disaster.

And as the pranking duo look for mayonnaise to try and get rid of the stain, the small Spaniard walks back into the room before seeing his 'really important' shirt stained.

Mata asks the group 'what is this man?' before acting all confused. With the tension already seeming to be running high, Mark then puts the blame on Chris' shoulders by saying it was his doing.

Chris, clearly feeling very awkward and nervous, quickly tells the truth and urges the others in the room to 'be honest' but Mark isn't having any of it as he continues to blame the poor United supporter.

But before matters get worse, Mark reveals he has been the butt of a practical joke set up by his best friend James.

At the end of the video, James says 'I am Chris' best man in a couple of months, and I've got the perfect story to tell at his wedding.'
