Will Eric Dier join Manchester United?

The England International is high up on Mourinho's wish list and United have been watching him extremely closely for the past six months.

Tottenham are determined not to be seen as a feeder club to the top teams and Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep his best players. Dier is particularly important, not only due to his quality and versatility, but also his dressing room popularity and close friendship with Dele Alli.

However, we can expect this one to develop in the summer months with United prepared to spend over £40m for Dier. The question is whether Tottenham will soften their stance as the cash comes to the table. At this stage, they are refusing to even name a price for a player they want to keep in north London.
