Cristiano Ronaldo sparked up controversy after captioning a photo of himself and a friend, Jose Semedo as 'black and white chocolate'.


The Real Madrid star posted a picture on instagram of himself and Semedo topless in a pool alongside with the caption "Perfect Match Black and White Chocolate" which has sparked a lot of views on the comment section of the post.

Some claimed that Ronaldo was being racist while others were on the Portuguese side claiming what he said wasn't offensive.

Ronaldo has been good friends with semedo for 20 years after they both met at the Sporting Lisbon Academy. Sources reports that they are known to speak to each other at least everyday and are known to go on vacations with their families from time to time.

Semedo recently flew to cardiff to watch Ronaldo play as he bagged his 4th champions league title.

Semedo was interviewed early this year concerning his relationship with Ronaldo and he said "I see Ronaldo as a proper brother, we've grown up together, he doesn't think he would have reached the level he has but believes it's down to our mentality not to give up on anything"
