John Terry’s signs one year deal with Aston Villa

Chelsea’s legend, John Terry, has made a move to Aston villa after a great and accomplishing career at Chelsea.

The move was a one year deal and was confirmed on Monday by Villa’s owner and Chairman, Tony Xia.

The 36 year old had shown his intention of leaving the club last season if he was to win one more title at the club which he did.

Now he is making a move to Aston, the Blues hero will earn around £60,000-a-week at Villa Park and there are also bonuses in Terry's contract if he gets Villa back in the Premier League.

This deal is a big one for the club as they have beaten competition from other clubs to sign the veteran.

Terry also made mention last season that he still had a lot to offer on the pitch but chances of him doing that at Chelsea were limited as the club has a lot of fine players.

Terry choosing of Villa  is because he is not willing to go against the blues next season he said :

"The club speaks for itself.

"They've got great support here. It's a club that deserves to be in the Premier League.

"Steve being Steve has persuaded me to come, and I'm delighted, because I still want to continue playing.

"I'm 36 and that hunger to play week in, week out and fight is still there."
The Chelsea team is sad to let Terry go said Conte and the team is willing to see for a possible comeback of Terry to the team in the future where he will be able to give advice on game-play to young upcoming players

The move of John to the Aston villa will be aiming at making the club finish in top 3 so as to guarantee their qualification back into the premier league after they relegated last 2 seasons, 2016 and in the last season, 2017 also finishing 13th in their leagues table.

"The ideal situation is to get into the Premier League, that's why I'm here and I believe we have the squad of players to do so," Terry said."If they're back in the Premier League this time next year I've done my job, and we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."
