Mother wants baby to be registered gender unknown,insists the baby should grow up and choose whatever gender It wants

A parent, Kori Doty, is pleading with the Canadian Authorities to issue her child a gender unknown certificate.Doty who is a Non Binary Trans Person wants the baby to be the first child whose will be identified on the birth certificate as unknown.

As a non binary person, Doty who has a moustache claims They is neither male or female and wants the same for her baby Searyl Atli.

She also said she likes to be referred to as "they" rather than "he" or "she" and wants Searyl to grow up until They, Searyl, can be able to talk and is intelligent enough to tell they,Doty, who they, Searyl really is.

Doty has already issued baby Searyl's health cards with gender; "undetermined", but also wants her birth certificate to say the same but the Authorities have refused to grant that.

Doty said: “When I was born, doctors looked at my genitals and made assumptions about who I would be, and those assignments followed me and followed my identification throughout my life. Those assumptions were incorrect, and I ended up having to do a lot of adjustments since then.”

Although the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal is helping Doty to get all government document have spaces for non-gendered people.

Another Canadian province claims it wouldn't be a good idea as such children could be subjects of bully and discrimination.
