When the video was starting Ms Zhang was saying in her local language “yum”, “this is great” until she realize that the plant she was eating was bitter and she said, "That's bitter... that's really bitter."
In the process of the video she noticed that her mouth went numb and her throat was as if it was on fire, immediately she ended the live stream and rush to the hospital.
At the hospital she was told that she eat a poisonous plant called Agave Americana not Aloe vera but she was lucky to have arrived at the hospital early if not, her case would have been different.
The video of the live show has been circulated online by various Chinese websites but Ms Zhang was reported to be in a good state.
