President Buhari cancels FEC meeting to receive probe report

The Federal Executive Council meeting which holds weekly did not hold today, Wednesday, August 23 instead President Muhammadu Buhari will receive the probe report on the allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ayo Oke.

According to reports, no reason was given for the cancellation

The probe panel headed by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, was set up to look into Lawal’s role in some contracts concerning grass clearing in the North-East by a company owned by Lawal, and Oke for his role of the NIA in the huge funds found in a Lagos home in cash


The presentation of the probe report will hold at the office of the President in his residence at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
