Across six local government areas of Katsina, up to 11 persons were reported to have died of the outbreak cholera in six local government areas of Katsina.
Reports have it that 132 cases have been recorded in 6 local government areas of of Funtua (40 cases), Kusada (83), Kaita (3 cases), Ingawa (4 cases), Kankia (1) and Katsina (1 case),” while five of the 11 persons were said to have died in Funtua LG and the remaining six in Kusada LG as a result of the outbreak.
