Janet Jackson move to essence festival

Janet Jackson will make her headlining gig at Essence Festival despite the recent death of her father, Joe Jackson.

Though her fans were concern that she would terminate her performance after her father death last week.

According to close sources to Janet said she's currently en route to New Orleans for the festival where she have been scheduled to perform on Sunday. She has other dates lined up through August on her State of the World tour too, which she's also planning to fulfill.

She thanked her fans for supportting her during the hard time in an Instagram video on Wednesday.
