Tensions rise over Ekiti State governorship elections

There has been tension due to the upcoming Ekiti State  election because of the two major political parties contesting for the governorship.

Mr Oshimole has said he will not allow any form of rigging during the election as alleged by Governor Fayose of PDP.

He said the governor got into that position through rigging and that APC has erased any form of rigging.

The Police of Ekiti has also been active to ensure a fair election. Security has been withdrawn from the candidates to ensure enough security that day.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police Operations, Mr Habilal Joshak has promised that the police will not be involved in any of the parties and if any policeman is involved it is at their own risk.
