Wow! Barcelona pay tribute to memorable 2005-06 double winners as they unveil striking new luminous away kit

Barcelona have officially unveiled their latest away kit, which pays tribute to their 2005-06 side who broke records en route to sealing a memorable La Liga and Champions League double.

The likes of Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o wreaked havoc on opposition defences that season as a star-studded outfit managed by Frank Rijkaard finished 12 points ahead of fierce rivals Real Madrid before scoring twice in 14 minutes to overcome 10-man Arsenal in Paris.

Barcelona, who won their 25th domestic title last term but just missed out in their quest to become only the third unbeaten side in La Liga history, will hope the new kit can inspire a similar performance to 12 years ago, when they embarked upon their longest run of consecutive victories across all competitions (18).

They also began the process of matching a club-best streak of 17 games unbeaten in Europe while winning only their second Champions League title - and a first since 1992.
