Lady Gaga Was Certain She’d Never Become An Actress – Here’s Why!

While the star dreamed to become an actress even before she wanted to be a singer, Lady Gaga admits she never thought it would be possible for her to have that career. But now that she is not only an award-winning actress for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel but stars in a movie as well, the dream has become a reality.

Gaga was in attendance at A Star Is Born’s premiere last night and while there, she talked to E! News, revealing that: ‘I could not make it as an actress, I was bad at auditioning. I never got a job.’

Fortunately, she met Bradley Cooper, and he helped her a lot with nailing her character in the new movie.

‘The most challenging part of this whole process for me was being as vulnerable as my character needed… but he [Bradley Cooper] made me feel so comfortable. He challenged me in ways I have never been challenged before, and I’m so so grateful to him for that,’ the celeb told the outlet.

Meanwhile, the actor and director made it very clear that he believed in her from the very beginning, much more than she did in herself.

‘It is all instinctual, and I knew it when I met her,’ Cooper said, before explaining that: ‘When I met her I felt like she was soulful and deep and open and warm and caring and thought, ‘God if I just could capture what I’m seeing right now talking to her [then] we are going to be okay.’

In addition, aside from her personality, Lady Gaga’s work ethic also contributed a lot to her getting the role.

‘She is somebody who works so hard and is so dedicated. You know, she’s very busy, and she gave it all up for the movie. Her willingness to put all that work in, I hope she feels paid off because I do,’ the man went on to praise her.
