A man is due in court today charged with murder after a body was discovered at a house in Bolton.
David Hesketh, 47, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He has been charged with a single count of murder.
Police launched a murder investigation after they were called by the ambulance service to a house on Aldersyde Street, in Great Lever, Bolton, on Friday evening.
The body of a man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was discovered at the scene.
He had suffered from multiple injuries.
A 40-year-old woman was also found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
In a statement Greater Manchester Police said: "A man will appear at court charged with murder.
