The prestige Nigeria
Education Awards (PNEA) has announced the launch of the third edition of the
awards, #PNEA 3.0, on Monday 24th September.
The project director, Mr Debo Olowu said the theme of the
2018 edition of the awards is “Creative Disruption”
He added that #PNEA 0.3 will hold a symposium for students
on the day of the awards, which will be a wakeup call for Nigerian students to
bench mark themselves with their colleague in the United State of America, China,
and other developed countries which will make them to be innovative.
The symposium will feature guest speakers form different industries
to share their experience with students and motivate them through their
achievement.
The educational award is aimed at giving accolades to
personalities and organization that have contributed to the development of
education in Nigeria.
PNEA 0.3 will be giving out no less than 50 categories of
awards base on different criteria. Each category will have at least 10 nominees
streamlined from the criteria before it will be open to an online voting.
The nomination and voting will be online. After the nominees
list is out, the voting will commerce.
