Cristiano Ronaldo’s now have the chance of of playing with is team Juventus at Old Trafford against his former team, Manchester because nothing stoping him from taking part except from sudden injury.
The Portuguese international was in danger of missing out that potential reunion following his sending off in Juve’s last Champions League tie against Valencia, which saw the Italian winning 2-0 despite finishing the match with 10 men.
After further examination, UEFA decided that CR7 didn’t warrant to get more than just one match ban for his red card, something that many football enthusiasts would certainly agree as he didn’t even look to make super malicious action.
Nevertheless, it’s certainly a positive news for the former Real Madrid super star as he will only missed his new team’s next midweek Champions League battle against Swiss outfit, Young Boys.
Juve themselves have shown that they are still a very strong side without Ronaldo’s presence as they even manage to comfortable defeated Valencia by two goals, which they scored after the Portugal international’s sending off.
Returning to Old Trafford as an opponent for Man United won’t be an exclusive event for CR7 as he already experienced it during his time with Madrid few years back.
Nevertheless, it’s still a special occasion, seeing how he now plays for a new side and is looking to show that he can still be an influential figure in Europe even when he is not at Los Blancos anymore.
