We are in trouble says Jose Mourinho

Zlatan Ibrahimovic sustained an injury Thursday’s quarter final game against Anderlecht. 

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has said his team are "in trouble" after injuries to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo in Thursday’s quarter final game against Anderlecht.

He admitted that the club will need the team captain Wayne Rooney's fighting spirit for the rest of the remaining matches in the season.

United Ace striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and dependable central defender Marcos Rojo suffered knee problems as United host Anderlecht at Old Trafford and beat them to progress to the semifinals of the Europa League competition.

The club has already lost Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Juan Mata to injuries for the rest of the season.

Jose Mourinho confirmed the outlook for both Ibrahimovic and Rojo was "fairly negative," and with the other injured players out of forthcoming games against Burnley and Manchester City, the United boss believes his options are limited at a crucial time of the season.
