Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon well known by his stage name Reekado Banks, who is currently signed to Mavin Records has said they are one big happy family as a label, claimed any competition among his colleagues is an healthy one.Reekado, who was born on 6th of December 1993 and first went by the stage name “Spicy” prior to his record deal with Mavin, said in an interview:
“The only thing I can say we have among us is healthy competition. We encourage ourselves to do well and we’re one big happy family. We give ourselves good pressure, like when one person releases a good song, the others are motivated to do the same, or even do better. We also advise ourselves on how to do better and we constantly look out for one another’s progress.”
He was named the Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014, and later won the Next Rated award at The Headies 2015 which sparked up a controversy between the Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, and YBNL boss, Olamide.
