Southampton and Manchester United played goalless draw in a dull end-of-season encounter

The game between Southampton and Manchester United has ended goalless at St Mary's as both sides made multiple changes in a boring end-of-season encounter.
Southampton should have gone ahead within five minutes had Manolo Gabbiadini converted the  penalty when Bailly was adjudged to have handled in the area, but United goalkeeper Sergio Romero made a brilliant save.

Eric Bailly's sharp shot then forced Fraser Forster into a solid save, as the United defender created his side's best chance of the first half.

United goalkeeper Sergio Romero was awarded man of the match. Southampton forced him to make multiple saves after the break but were unable to get past the Manchester United keeper.
