Victor Moses marries long time partner day after FA Cup final

Nigerian International football player and Chelsea Wing-back Victor Moses’ brilliant season ended on a sour note when he was sent off after being shown a second yellow for diving but picked himself up when he married his long-time partner in London on Sunday.

After the final, Chelsea’s captain John Terry said of Moses:

“He is down, but it is important that the group pick him up

“He has come back to the club, because year after year he has been sent away [on loan] by managers. The manager has showed big faith in him this year and he has been excellent, so [we're] just trying to pick him up.

“Naturally he is down and the poor fella has got his wedding tomorrow as well. But he’s been excellent all season, so no-one’s to blame.

“It is one of them things. It’s just disappointing.”

This season has been a breakthrough campaign for the 26-year-old Moses, who has finally forced his way into the Chelsea team after being loaned out in the previous three seasons on loan.

Only a few family members and friends witnessed the ceremony between the couple who already have two children together, a five-year-old son Brentley and a two-year-old daughter Nyah.
