The Monaco starlet has been linked with many big clubs but Real Madrid is seen to be leading the pack as he and Zinedine Zidane, the Real Madrid’s coach, have a very close relationship.
Perez advised that Mbappe should stay with the league 1 champions as he might not get into the starting eleven team at madrid that he desires.
'He is a very good player, it reminds me of last year of when they said that we would sign Pogba,' he said to esRadio. 'The summer is very long, Zidane has had a close relationship with him for several years.
'But very few players play at Real Madrid at the age of 18.
'He should have patience, the coach has it in his mind. It's not worth saying if we are going to bring in players who could be on the bench.
With Monaco placing a record breaking £130m price tag on his head, Mbappe stand the chance of being the first nine-figure sportsman in history.
Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger, has revealed he will pay a world-record fee for the striker and is prepared to offer him a central role in his starting XI, while Liverpool shows interest.
Jurgen Klopp, similarly, has been given the funds to make a potential deal happen and have an advantage over Arsenal due to their Champions League status. However, Wenger, like Zidane, is understood to have a close relationship with the Mbappe family.
