Sokoto state government disburse N751m for Ramadan

Ramadan.

Alhaji Mani Maishinko Katami, Sokoto State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, during a chat with newsmen on Wednesday revealed that the Sokoto State Government has released N751 million for the Ramadan fast and forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr packages to orphans and other needy persons in the state.He said the packages, which were categorised into three, were aimed at assisting the beneficiaries to fast and celebrate the forthcoming sallah with relative.

“All these gestures are aimed at further alleviating the suffering of the beneficiaries, as well as make them have a sense of belonging during the forthcoming Sallah festivities,” he stated.
