Joe Hart set to join West Ham

Joe Hart will have a medical at West Ham on Monday before completing a season-long loan move.

The Hammers have an option to buy the England goalkeeper at the end of the season and Manchester City will cover part of his £120,000-per-week wages.

He uploaded a picture to his Instagram page on Sunday of him on a train, captioned 'on route to the next adventure'.

Hart has been told he has no future at the Etihad by boss Pep Guardiola and, while his contract still has two years to run, it is almost certain he has played his last game for the club he joined from Shrewsbury in 2006.

The 30-year-old had an indifferent loan spell in Serie A with Torino last season but will be hoping a regular starting role back in the Premier League can cement his England position, which is under threat from the likes of Jack Butland and Jordan Pickford.

Meanwhile, West Ham are set to return with a third bid for Stoke forward Marko Arnautovic. Stoke do not want to sell and are digging their heels in having rejected offers of £15m and £20m.

However, the Austrian is desperate to force through the move and could hand in a transfer request if this latest approach is again turned down.
