PNEA 2.0: Prestige Nigeria Education Awards 2017 Nominee List

The Central Working Committee of Prestige Nigeria Education Awards (#PNEA)  have announced the NOMINEES for the 2017 edition of the Prestige Awards tagged “RE-INVENT,” which is the second edition of the awards.

The PNEA is a national platform birthed to celebrate excellence in the educational sector, recognizing individuals, institutions and brands contributing to the advancement of Nigerian education and also celebrate creators of educative contents.

 The theme for the PNEA season 2.0 "RE-INVENT" is calling for innovation and creativity in the academia and beyond to transform the Nigerian educational system and by extension the entire nation.

Voting commences Monday 16^th of October and ends Monday 6^th of November 2017.

Some of the season one winners have made a surprising comeback on this year’s list, among them are: Channels Television which won Most Educative TV station 2016, Guaranty Trust Bank won the best CSR in education 2016, Lagooz School won best Private primary school in Lagos, University of Lagos, Lagos State Polytechnic, Cowbell, Channels, Nigeria Info, PUNCH, Caleb International School.

Season Two of the PNE Awards feature the following categories:

·         MOST EDUCATIVE TV STATION OF THE YEAR

·         MOST EDUCATIVE RADIO STATION OF THE YEAR

·         BEST GOVERNMENT UNIVERSITY FOR 2017

·         BEST PRIVATE UNIVERSITY FOR 2017

·         BEST GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNICS FOR 2017

·         BEST PRIMARY SCHOOL IN EACH LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN LAGOS STATE FOR 2017

·         BEST SECONDARY SCHOOL IN EACH LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN LAGOS STATE FOR 2017

·         BEST PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL IN LAGOS STATE FOR 2017

·         BEST PRIVATE PRIMARY SCHOOL IN LAGOS STATE FOR 2017

·         BEST PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL IN LAGOS STATE FOR 2017

·         BEST PRIVATE SECONDARY SCHOOL IN LAGOS STATE FOR 2017

·         MOST EDUCATIVE MOVIE OF THE YEAR

·         MOST EDUCATIVE NEWSPAPER OF THE YEAR

·         EDUCATIONAL PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR

·         MOST EDUCATIVE & INSPIRATIONAL SONG OF THE YEAR

·         YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PLATFORM OF THE YEAR
