Get off my shoulder! Salah tells fan ahead of World Cup opener

Mohamed Salah gave an indication into his injury recovery on Monday when he was forced to instruct an overeager Egypt supporter to get off his left shoulder.

The Pharoahs' talisman was set upon by a fan as he departed Egypt's team bus with the supporter taking his phone out to request a selfie.  The supporter embraced Salah and placed his hand on his shoulder, before the Liverpool star sought evasive action as he appeared in discomfort.

The hopes of the north African nation are resting on Salah's shoulders with the start of Egypt's World Cup campaign now just four days away.

Salah faces a battle to be fit in time for Friday's opener against Uruguay as he attempts to recover from the injury he sustained while playing for Liverpool in the Champions League final
