Victor Lindelof will return from the Russia World Cup with his stock higher than ever before, and has a series of clubs interested in acquiring his services.

The Sweden international gave an impressive account of himself at the tournament, and is now courting the interest of a number of European clubs.

Lindelof featured in each of Sweden's last four games at the tournament, and put in a solid shift in the recent quarter-final defeat by England.

Now a series of clubs have contacted Old Trafford regarding the possibility of taking the 23-year-old on loan for next season, as report the Sun.

Manager Jose Mourinho is set to resist all such advances however, and give the Swede more playing time in his squad next season.
