Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di Maria remained coy over reports that he is set to sign a new contract with the club.
Entering the final 12 months of his contract, Di Maria has featured heavily in coach Thomas Tuchel's early matches and appears to be above Julian Draxler in the pecking order.
"The most important thing is the team and thinking about each match," Di Maria said in a news conference on Friday, a day before PSG host Angers. "I have spoken with the club and I am calm.
"My family is happy here, which is very important to me. I have also spoken with the coach and he is happy with me. I work and think about the next game."
Di Maria, 30, said last season was not easy because of the emergence of the front three of Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Neymar, which has been nicknamed "MCN."
He said he was frustrated with Unai Emery's refusal to consider him as a regular member of the starting XI.
"Last season was difficult because of MCN," Di Maria said. "However, whenever I was on the pitch, I tried to show what I could do.
"The then coach only wanted to play with three attackers. I do not know why I did not play so much last season. You will have to ask the coach from that time."
