Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Senior Pastor Daystar Christian Centre

The senior Pastor of DayStar Christian Center, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, yesterday on twitter posed a very crucial question fit for the celebration of Nigeria's Democracy Day addressing the supposed expectations of Nigerians from the government.

His question  "What really is the Nigerian  Dream?" begged for answers, which Adeyemi tried to answer via Periscope.
Adeyemi whose teachings on Leadership and entrepreneurship locally and internationally has earned him respect especially among the Youth, organizational heads and in conferences where he speaks as a resource person spoke on nation building.

He emphasized the importance of having a vision /dream as individuals, corporate entities and as a nation that it had the capacity to heal the pains of the past.

"Vision when realized can heal you of the pains of the past"

Adeyemi said that Nigeria was in need of a National leader not and not one based on tribe, religion or faction.
"We need National Leaders not Tribal Leaders, Religious Leaders nor Factional Leaders"

He pointed the role of the citizens in creating and ensuring that the Nigerian dream is being actualized
Government should not create the Nigerian dream for us, we citizens must create , capture that dream & ensure its realization.

"There is tremendous energy in Nigeria, currently being expressed as anger. That energy can be channeled in the Nigerian dream"

The session which lasted almost 14minutes on the Nigerian dream and vision was a very expository one and we can only hope that it helps to start the process that would change the trajectory of this nation positively.
