It is very likely the deal will be made as rumours have it that the deal has been made long before the agreement was made public, as the defender is well liked by the Manchester united manager, José Mourinho.
The signing of the young defender would also help reduce the disappointment from the United fans after the veteran striker Antoine Griezmann decided to reject the offer to Old Trafford.
Nonetheless, Man United will keep on upgrading their team as the Red Devils already have an eye on the Real Madrid's forward, Álvaro Morata. It will surely be interesting to see how much the Man United side are willing to spend this summer since they have been cashing out big in recent seasons.
