Shame! Police arrest 20-year-old man for raping deaf, dumb virgin

The police in Ogun State have arrested a 20-year-old man, Nurudeen Akintoye, for allegedly raping a deaf and dumb virgin.

The victim, an 18-year-old, was lured by the suspect who lives in Ajura community in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed this in a statement issued Sunday, said the incident happened last Wednesday.

Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said Akintoye forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of the teenager.

He said: “The incident happened on the 7th of June at about 9:45 pm when the suspect who lives in Ajura community in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State lured the victim into a bush and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.”
