| Manchester City Manager: Pep Gaurdiola |
Speaking in an interview Guardiola said that he already planned since last season to reduce the average age of City players, but for the obvious lack of time, and too many players they would need to replace in just one season.
However, with things finally taking shape, and some of the older players leaving, they have started their market acquiring younger talents such as Bernardo Silva along with goal keeper, Ederson Moraes.
Furthermore Man. City is targeting Benjamin Mendy along with Kyle Walker, both young players although rumour has it that they are giving an exception to older player, Dani Alves’ potential arrival to the club.
Regardless of City’s rejuvenation plan, the former Barcelona boss has said for his team to catch up with the big and traditional European teams, they might still need more time, maybe even a decade.
