Diego Perotti has admitted the departure of Alisson will leave a massive whole in the Roma changing room — but he believes the team will be improved by the funds raised from his £67m move to Liverpool.

The Premier League side have moved quickly to secure the Brazilian's signature in the past few days, with the 25-year-old having flown into Merseyside to complete the deal.

Liverpool are set to sign Alisson from Roma for a world record fee for a goalkeeper of £66.6 million, greatly strengthening the weakest part of the side.

Perotti, teammates with Alisson at Roma, has spoken about the Brazilian leaving before his mega-money move to Merseyside has been confirmed.
