Jack Wilshere: England future part of move to West Ham
Jack Wilshere is hoping his move to West Ham will help save his England career, but admitted he is "still sad" about having to make the tough decision to leave Arsenal.

He also thanked new Arsenal boss Unai Emery for being "respectful and honest" in their conversation last month, when he was told he would not be a regular starter for the Gunners.

After seeing his international teammates reach the semifinals of the World Cup, Wilshere says he wants to stake his claim for a place in the England setup again.

"I'm really motivated to get back into the England squad. This team seems to have really connected the fans to the team again," Wilshere said at the launch of NERF's new Laser Ops range. "So I want to be involved in that positive group and positive mindset of going forward with the national team.

And that's another reason why I stayed in England because I wanted to be in people's mind, playing in front of the England manager and trying to get back in the squad."
