Manchester City looking hungry and ready to defend their Premier League title seeing how they put on a nice display when beating Chelsea 2-0 in the annual preseason trophy, Community Shield this past Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s men didn’t give any time for their opponent to settle down as City immediately press forward in such vigorous manner which earned them a reward rather quickly.
After just 13 minutes of play the Premier League defending champions got themselves in front through their historic striker, Sergio Aguero, who never seems to stop scoring goal every season.
Trailing by a goal, Chelsea tried hard to get themselves back into the match, but Maurizio Sarri might still need more time to make things click for The Blues.
After the break, both teams continue to play their offensive brand of football, but it was City that got things done as they eventually netted their second on 58 minutes, once again from Aguero’s effort.
The Blues struggling even more to get themselves going after the break, especially since they invited more dangerous counter attacks potential from City, as Guardiola’s men saw many space they can fill every time they push forward.
Eventually, no more goals scored by either teams as Man City comfortably hold their two goals lead until the final whistle was blown.
