Universal pictures Fast and Furious has grossed as the highest box office record for an opening night racing against record holder Star Wars on full steam on the world stage.
The fate of the furious is the 8th edition of the movie directed by F.Gary Gary, it raced to an estimated $532.5 million global when it debut over Easter weekend in addition to $100.2 million domestically and a $432.2 million overseas.
Speculations were up over the weekend that if the numbers continued racing it could surpass the the previous world record Star Wars which made $529m in its opening weekend in December 2015.The other film to break the $500m barrier is Jurassic World.
The film which stars Vin Diesel,Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne johnson as street racers had its highest taking ins from foreign markets especially china will had the biggest weekend opening figures of $190m.The film took $423.3m across 63 territories.
Although the film Fate of the Furious 8 ($100.2m)made less than fast and furious 7 ($147.2m), in North America for the opening weekend. It has grossed as the highest box office record globally.
