Here is Zlatan Ibrahimovic's update on Manchester United future

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is recovering from the cruciate knee ligament injury that wrecked the ending to his campaign with the Reds and cost him a place in Jose Mourinho 's XI for the Europa League final in Stockholm and is ready to play for at least another season but his swansong may not be with Manchester United .

The 35-year-old had surgery in America following the injury suffered against Anderlecht at Old Trafford in April and the MLS has been seen as a potential future destination for Ibrahimovic to see out his playing days.

But his agent Mino Raiola insists United's 28-goal hitman won't be US bound, but hasn't decided whether he'll remain at Old Trafford.

“Will he continue at United? I don't know, we will talk soon to sort out the future,” says Raiola.

“He will play for one more year, maybe two.

“There have been offers from clubs from many leagues, but he will remain in Europe 100 per cent.”

Ibrahimovic, who was on crutches at United's Europa League final triumph over Ajax, has already suggested that he is close to return to some form of training but also wasn't prepared to shed light on his decision.

“In a few weeks I'll be back in the field,” said the Swede.

“Where? Let's see.”
