The Chelsea boss is emerging as the only manager with a recent proven track record who is likely to be available this summer.
Thursday will mark one week without a manager since Zinedine Zidane left Madrid after disagreeing with the board over plans for next season.
Zidane resigned from his role at the Bernabeu in the wake of their Champions League final win against Liverpool.
Now the Daily Mail say Conte has emerged as the favourite to land the job and is set to receive an offer from Real Madrid chiefs.
