Pochetinno says it would be 'difficult' for Tottenham to make any signing
Mauricio Pochettino admits Tottenham are highly unlikely to buy any players in the transfer window as the club lose hope in their pursuit of Jack Grealish.

Tottenham have seen a £25m bid rejected for Aston Villa's winger Grealish amid a summer of frustration in the transfer market.

The club are now set to move into their new stadium without any summer additions.

Pochettino said: 'It is so difficult no because it is only a few hours. I do not have news now and surely it will be quite difficult. Until the game is over, you can not say it is finished. It will be difficult.

'I am happy to keep building the squad together. There were many rumours about players out during the summer. The club made a massive effort with Harry Kane's new contract. The club is making an amazing effort with the new stadium. We finished the lodge at the training ground. It was a massive effort for the club.

'It is difficult to understand for people in football that Tottenham did not sign or sell a player. Sometimes you need to behave differently. If we cannot improve it, it is better to keep it together.
